FAITHLESS Blog Tour: Book Spotlight
I'm so excited to be a part of the blog tour for Faithless by Emily Mundell today! When Emily reached out to me about it and I read a little more about the book, I knew I had to sign up.
On her release day post, Emily talked a bit about what to expect in the story and upped my interest even more. While I love happy, picture-perfect endings, there is a special place in my heart for ones that are hard. Ones that aren't what you expect. *cough* Return of the King *cough*

Emily Mundell is a 20-something author, artist, horsewoman and lover of the wonders of the wide world. She hails from the Great White North of Canada and has spent her life growing up in the heart of rural Alberta in a close-knit farming community - though she has often entertained fantasies of inhabiting the Shire.
Writing is her true passion – though horses and art take a close second. With fantasy as her primary genre, Emily has been writing stories since the tender age of eight when she finished her first “book.” In 2017, she completed her Creative Writing Certificate through the University of Calgary. An avid bookworm, true country-mouse, and unconventional tree-climber, Emily can usually be found on a horse, working on one of her half-dozen projects, chasing a loose cow, or being swept off her feet by the man she calls her own personal “hobbit.”

Faithless was DEFINITELY a hard-ending book. Which made sense, given the story?? A neat ending would have felt wrong.
ReplyDeleteAnd the quarantine means I'm off work, so I'm just helping around home... so I'm gearing up to take down my TBR. Next on my list is the sequel to Strange the Dreamer, so it will be interesting to see if I remember any of the first book... xD

DeleteOh fun!! I've kind of just done the same as I've always done here (apparently my lifestyle is called quarantine?) but I've gotten a little more time because I'm not having to take people places. So that's nice.
