About Me

Welcome! I'm thrilled you chose to join me as I journey from a writer to an author. Now onto a little bit about me. My name is Sarah. I'm a Christian girl who loves all things writing, cats (in case you wanted to know, the Crazy Cat Lady's mild-mannered alter ego is me. So that cat's out of the bag), coffee, checklists, and fitness. Oh yeah, and I love good puns.

I've been a writer for 15-ish years. I write just about anything from short stories to full-length novels, with my focus on the latter. To date, I've written 10 novels  and co-written another. You can find out more about them here.

When I'm not writing, you can find me reading, cooking, flailing over how adorable my cat is, working out, and having adventures in the vast world of NC with my dearest friends.

For now, God bless,
Sarah Rodecker

  2. Hey, have you heard of the Rebellious Writing movement started by Gray Marie over at graymariewrites.blogspot.com? It's really similar to what your goal is. I've even written a post about it, too.

I love puns, fitness, but I can't agree with you on the cats. Sorry. I'm allergic and dogs are my favorite. I love your blog and I can't wait to see where the Lord takes you. God bless you!

    1. I completely understand being allergic. But CATS!! *snuggles their cuddly little faces*

I have heard of the Rebellious Writing movement. I've read a few of the posts here and there. I've considered doing a post or two, but haven't yet gotten around to it. Plus, I have no idea what I would talk about. There's so much to cover, but I really have to be passionate about the subject before I can talk about it. Otherwise it'll just sound forced. But believe me, I'm praying hard about it.

    2. There is so much to cover when it comes to YA and New Adult Novels. There's just so much they allow now. I just thought I would mention it since it seemed to be something similar to your group.

      God bless. <3

    1. Yes, cats and herbal teas are awesome and hastagian is one of the greatest invented words ever!

Aw, thank you. That's very kind of you to say. It's my pleasure. I love reading and commenting on other people's posts (almost more than doing my own blogging *whoops*!).

  4. Love your blog, Sarah! I'm with you on the cat person thing. Wishing I could have my own kitten right now, but alas where my hubby and I live, it's not wise... TT_TT Ah well, someday soon! Tea is certainly the way to go, though I do love a good iced mocha. Right now, my go to is an iced chai tea latte. *YUM*

I wanted to thank you for visiting my blog and for the kind comment! That's what led me to yours! I so look forward to more of your posts. And I may have befriended you on NaNo... ;D Blessings, dearie! :] *waves*

    2. I know! And agreed. Unless I can get decaf in the afternoons, before noon is best for the coffee drinks. :] Awww, you are too kind! And it's my pleasure, I love stumbling on/being introduced to new blogs and potential bloggy friends! Have a lovely day!
